The second half of the rowing season kicks off on January 17th with Boys only and Girls only regattas over successive weekends. This is the first time that this format has been tried, and may offer a compromise option to those schools who wish to have all age groups participate on one day whilst ensuring that the regatta finishes at a reasonable time.
Bishop Bavin will be entering crews in both events and we look forward to a return to Roodeplaat and competition over full 1000m and 2000m courses.
Preliminary draws (including event times) should be available on the regatta.co.za website by late Wednesday, with the final draw being issued on Friday. Name changes are permitted on the day of the regatta.
